No live data since updating to 3.0

I recently updated and no longer see live data.

I've followed everything here https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1960

Also removed the device on the app on the phone, restarted it, and even crossed my fingers.  But it just shows the last sync.

The new interface is terrible as well.  Why make everything smaller?

Hello @magictorch thanks for bringing this to my attention, welcome to the Community Forums.

Seems odd that after the latest update you're no longer seeing live data, thanks for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting. To better assist you with this matter, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using to sync your Fitbit device? When was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? This is periodically occurring or since the update you just stop seeing live data on the Fitbit app? In the meantime I receive your answers, please uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app and let me know how it goes.

I'll be around, let me know if you have any additional questions.

The OP is not the only one. The lack of live data started the moment the new version of the Android client was pushed out. It is a permanent issue.

In addition, I now have to reboot both phone and/or Ionic just to get the thing to synch.

Phone is Samsung Galaxy S8 running Android 9.

Live tracking worked reasonably consistently immediately prior to this most recent update; now it doesn't work at all.

Version 2.95, by the way.

I have a OnePlus 5 running Oxygen 9.0.6

It happened only since the update.  Never before.  It's not happening periodically, it's since the update.

I also sometimes can't swipe away the notifications and have the restart the phone to remove them.

I've uninstalled, and reinstalled, but it's still the same.

I also am having this issue with my Samsung S8 Plus and my Inspire HR. Have to restart my phone at least 6 times a day to get the fitbit to sync as well as turn Bluetooth on and off, etc. This has been happening to me since the Android update too.

Yes, the constant "Bluetooth Problems" notification was a pain as well.

Anyway, I have downgraded the application to version 2.89 and Live Data is back working again. It's syncing properly and I'm no longer repeatedly having to restart Bluetooth.
