No more music on Fitbit devices

I'm very upset because Fitbit dropped Pandora it was the very reason that I started buying Fitbit. I bought over 8 fitbit watches over the years for my family and friends and now we don't have music. I needed my music on the go for when I ran and worked out but now I don't have it. That really sucks..

Hi @IdaMcGhee7 - the downgrade is annoying to many, but there are other good brands out there that may be do even better, and still have good battery life, for instance Garmin Venu 2 Plus. You don't need any subscriptions to put music on the watch.

What other watches have you found that allow you to control your music? After 10 years I'm sad to leave fitbit.

This is incredibly sad. Can you enable watches to control your music like Garmin with no 3rd party apps?

@TaraBeck You don't need necessarily a smartwatchj to control the music being played on your phone, a simple and cheap tracker such as miBand has such functionality. Other trackers offered by Amazfit and Huawei, for example, offer the same function. As a runner I use a Polar Vantage V2 to control my music (and podcasts, and audiobooks) being played on my Pixel 6.

Hi @TaraBeck - in addition to what @Dopovo  has provided, almost all watches have the ability to control any music playing on the phone, including the Fitbit Sense and Versa 3 (possibly the Versa 2 as well) with built in music control features that have not yet been removed.

Though it is true some watches from Garmin allow you to also load music on your watch so presumably people who like to listen to music without a phone and want good battery life are migrating to such watches.

I focused on music control as this was the question by @TaraBeck . It also true that not only Garmin offers music storage: several models from Amazfit, Huawei, Samsung Gear and all wear OS smartwatches offer music storage. Huawei in his catalogue offers even a smartwatch with included earphones.

I'm really annoyed Fitbit canceling all music abilities. When I bought the Sense, the connection to Deezer was advertised in particular. It was one of the reasons why I bought the Sense. I am really angry that nothing was communicated at all. I will change to a other company.
