Whats the latest update on the compatibility with Xiaomi phones? I bought a fitbit today, the first few hours it worked perfect, all notifications came up and I was really happy. However... then the notifications stopped coming through and the message "Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to en-able notifications on your tracker." Obviously, I restarted and tried all the other tips I could find on here. Do I just have to face the fact that they are not compatible?
I have a Xiaomi Redmi note 9S and everything is in their most recent updates.
Thanks

@Renevi Hey there. Welcome to the forums. I will gladly help you regarding the notifications on your Fitbit device with your Xiaomi smartphone.
Note that all Android devices are compatible, as long they are above Android 8.0. Yours has definitely even a newer Android version. This is just something with the permissions and Fitbit app settings on your phone. I recommend you take a look at this article: Why does the Fitbit app need to run in the background on my Android phone?.
I recommend and you go and check the battery settings of the Fitbit app. Open your settings, go to apps and then go to Fitbit. There you tap on Battery and you can edit the battery optimization settings. I also suggest checking out this article: Why are notifications delayed or missing?.
Have a nice day!
