Cannot get my ionic to receive text notifications. Also, it wont show my sleep info or weather info. Is it a lemon? Should i return it?

I have the same issued with my versa. they said that my phone is not compatable for it.

Thanks for replying! I have a samsung android. I get the call notification
just not the text notification. Its so frustrating!

I have a lg v30 I use to get every notification and then it updated and now
I get nothing..
