The last update did not bring any improvement in the synchronization of Nokia 8 -> Ionic
When will you add Nokia 8 as a compact device?
Lack of synonymization is stressful
Android 8.1.0 system, why does not it work?
Do not hesitate about smartphone users other than iphone

@Ireneusz Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I moved your post to the Android App Board as there are more chances for you to receive an answer to your inquiry here.

Thanks for your interest in syncing Ionic with your Nokia 8. The reason why it is not working everytime is because the Nokia 8 is not a compatible device. 

The developer team is aware of the need to add new devices to the list of compatible devices. There are some users who can synchronize with non-compatible devices. As your phone meets the requirement of Minimum Supported OS (Android 4.4 KitKat), you can try the tips on this helpful article.
 
Note that we don't guarantee that the synchronization would be will be successful as we are still testing on this phone model.
