Cannot get notifications because the Blaze is not compatible with the Galaxy S8. I'll be returning the Blaze. And moving away from Fitbit devices...

Before buying any device its wise to check compatibility. So please make sure you do on what ever you choose.

 

Galaxy S8 Is a new phone and it takes time to catch up to the technology. So some of the others might not be compatible as well.
