Thanks for bringing this up. I'd like to take a closer look at the situation. What exactly happens when you try to manually log an activity? Do you get some sort of error message on it? If so, what does it say?
If possible, could you get a screen shot of whatever you see when you try to get an activity in?
In the meantime please try to force close the app and then log out from your account and back in, just to make sure that the app is fully loaded.
