HR not syncing, incorrectPIN or passkey, reject pairing

Above are all the messages I have received when trying to sync my device with my Google Pixel XL. Have been working on this for days so please no general "go here and see if this works".

 

Updated Fitbit software, phone software, phone is compatible, HR shows in available bluetooth but won't pair. Either get the incorrect passkey or the pair rejected message. Have dongle plugged into laptop. Everything up to date.

 

Syncing seems to come up ever 3-6 months, so I've dealt with this before and none of the things I've done in the past work, neither have any suggestions I've been able to find after poring thru about a million messages with the same **ahem** problem.

Thanks for sharing everything that you have tried thus far.

 

Maybe you could try to just restart the whole connection from start. Remove your Fitbit from any and all Bluetooth devices you might have used to sync. Not from your account, but the actual Bluetooth lists. Then run the setup again as if it was a full on new device.

 

If that doesn't work, or you have already tried that too, please let me know.
