Alta won't sync, time now incorrect

I haven't been able to get my alta to sync properly in nearly 2 weeks. Keeps saying tracker not found & timing out. My alta battery ran out of charge & while it has fully recharged the time is now 3 hours behind. It seemed to sync once since the time has gone wrong but the time did not correct, even when I tried to change the display format to force the time to correct. The steps that had seemed to sync have since disappeared. So my alta is currently not even a decent watch. Any suggestions? Have already uninstalled & reinstalled the app. My phone is a Huawei p9 lite. Had my alta for approx 18mths.

After some research, it seems that your device is not compatible with Fitbit products. To find more information about incompatible devices, see http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2315/.

Please visit fitbit.com/devices for a list of tested devices that work with Fitbit products.

 

Perhaps you could use a device that shows up on that list or a computer in order to get your Alta to sync
