Not always receiving Sleep Stages with Charge 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

For the last few weeks, multiple times a week (3-4), the sleep tracker no longer tracks sleep stages. I sleep more than enough time that it should track it. Or it completely misses days. Sept 18-21 it tracked nothing at all. I've had the fitbit for years, so I'm not suddenly sleeping with it incorrectly on my wrist. Plus, this failure coincides with the forced update of the app. What's going on?

Hello @nacanina, welcome to the Community Forums!

I appreciate the information and details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this situation, can you please let me know how many times you haven't received Sleep Stages? On September 18th and 21st your device didn't record sleep information at all? Which Android mobile device you're currently using? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check the information that's specified on our help article: Why don't I see sleep stages today? and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

Ok, if you are going to thank me for the information and details provided, why not actually read it?

1. I said I don't get sleep stages 3-4 times a week.

2.  a dash between dates means "through," not "and." Meaning I did not get sleep tracking at all Sept 18th *through* Sept 21st.

3  I stated I have worn the fitbit for *years* now. I know exactly when it does not count sleep stages. I don't suddenly wear it incorrectly or sleep less than 3 hours a night. In fact, on most nights I sleep more than 10 hours. Sending me an article of information which I stated I'm already aware does not in anyway help.

4. This all coincided with the update.

Only only thing you asked that I did not already answer is that I have a Samsung galaxy s6.
