Not pairing with Samsung Galaxy j6+

I've just got the Fitbit inspire hr and I've tried to pair it with my Samsung j6+. It will not pair, is it compatible? As surely they should tell you when you buy this, If not hope I can get my money back.

Thanks for letting me know about your new Inspire HR. Currently your Samsung Galaxy J6+ phone isn't compatible with the Fitbit app which may prevent the functionality of some features. I know how you're feeling and our team continues working hard to add more devices to that list. While there isn't a guarantee that it'll always work, we can try some steps to see how it goes.

 

  1. Remove any device from the Bluetooth settings in your phone.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections that are nearby.
  3. On your phone's settings tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  4. Go back one screen and tap on force stop.
  5. Reboot your phone and restart your Inspire HR.
  6. Open the Fitbit app and try setting up your tracker one more time.

 

About your other inquiry, we provide refunds to any order purchased from our Fitbit store that is within 45 days as described here. If your Inspire HR was purchased from another retailer, I'd recommend to get in touch with them so they can provide you with more details about the refund policy.
