my fitbit is not receiving notifications from Huawei p30 Pro. After countless emails back and forth you've now declared that the Huawei is not a compatible device and to use another android device or pc to log my details. Not a good enough answer as far as I'm concerned as my original problem request was about phone and message notifications which are relevant to my phone NOT tablet or pc funnily enough. And my tablet is also a Huawei so where does that leave me? What is your compatibility list and why aren't all phones on it? This is the 21st century and my phone is an android not Google or Microsoft so what's the problem. Answers please. I'm fuming

First, I'd like to appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation with our Customer Support team prior to posting, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you, thanks for your patience.
Let me share with you that we are always working and testing new devices to make sure that they meet all the necessary requirements to be compatible with our products and services. That being said, my best recommendation will be to keep your Android and Fitbit app up to date and periodically check our list of compatible devices here to receive an update about the Huawei P30 Pro.
If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit are correctly configured. After verifying this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

You should receive the notifications by now. I had the same problem and started looking for a solution. First in notifications I chose WhatsApp as my message app. Then I had to restart my phone. After that I went again to notifications and in App notification chose my messaging app. Again restarted my Phone. After that I restarted my Fitbit versa 2, and I suddenly had notifications.
