Not receiving notifications on Versa 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Just got my Versa 2. It is paired with my Samsung S9. It sinks my steps but I am not receiving notifications of any kind. I have tried restarting my phone, checked bluetooth, went in and did all settings. If this will not work I will be returning the Fitbit. My daughters fitbit will not connect with her new Pixel 4 either.

Hi @Shobes. It's great to see a new face around the forums.

Thanks for sharing that you got the Versa 2, as well for troubleshooting it prior posting. I've confirmed that your Samsung Galaxy S9 phone is a compatible device and although you've tried some steps, please give a try to the following steps:

  1. Remove the Versa from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections nearby. This is just for this process.
  3. First, on the Versa 2, swipe down and tap the quick settings icon.
  4. Make sure the Do Not Disturb (little circle icon) as well the Sleep Mode (moon icon) are turned off.
  5. Verify the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version.
  6. Set up the notifications one more time.

About your daughter's Fitbit, let me share that our team optimizes the Fitbit app to work on multiple models and currently the Google Pixel 4 isn't part of the compatible devices list. While we cannot guarantee that it'll always work, please ask her to try the steps described in this help article. If she continues having this issue, please create a new topic in the Android board I can help you out with that matter.

I'll be around, keep me posted.

I had a coworker help me with the issue and she was able to get things
working. As for the Pixel 4, do you plan on having this device checked to
see if is/will be compatible?

Hi @Shobes. Thanks for getting back and I'm sorry for my delayed response.

That's fantastic news and I'm glad that everything is working with your Versa 2. About your question, while I don't have a time frame when your phone will be included in our official list, you can visit the Feature Suggestions board which is the place to make your voice heard. In there you can post your idea so others can find it and vote for it. The more votes an idea receives, the better chance it has of getting the attention of the developers.

Hope to see you around more often! 😉
