My Versa is synching with the app on my phone (Pixel/android) but I am no longer receiving texts and calls. I have made sure everything is on, connected, restarted. And still nothing. My heart rate doesn't always pick up either as of late.

Hello @Tpmartino, welcome to the Community Forums!
I appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation prior to posting. When was the first time you experienced this? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Versa are correctly configured. After verifying this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.
Regarding heart rate, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors of your device are still flashing in a normal way? Meaning, the same way they flashed since the first time you used your device? Please check:: Why don't I see my heart rate on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Such information was really helpful for other users that were experiencing the same uncommon behavior.
Keep me posted.

I am having the same issue. My Versa stopped receiving notifications and I have tried everything, even uninstalling the app, reinstalling and I have followed all of the links amd steps to troubleshoot. Still nothing. This started about a week ago and is very frustrating.

My Versa worked fine with both syncing and receiving notifications until the latest app update. Using 2.87 I can now finally sync again but I'm still not getting notifications for texts and calls. It's extremely frustrating because, as others have said, it worked perfectly until the new version of the app came through.

I have a Charge 3 and am having a similar issue. What I have found is the following -
My Charge 3 remains connected to the app just fine.
The Bluetooth connection with the phone is where the problem is. I have had the Bluetooth forget my Charge 3. I then clear out the Bluetooth's cache. When I go to pair a new device, that is where things get interesting.
When my Bluetooth only sees a Charge 3 it will not pair. However, when it only sees a Versa it pairs and all works well for maybe 2 hours and then I am right back to nada.

Hello. I have been working with someone from FitBit and have literally
tried everything. I haven't been having as much trouble re: the missing
heartrate, but I still can't received notifications on my device even
though it is syncing just fine with the app.

I have been back and forth with FitBit. They have had me try all kinds of
things. The weird thing is, the app is still connected/ picking up the
device so it's not the bluetooth. So strange. I will let you know if they
miraculously discover the issue.

i wish I had been paying attention to when I updated the app. I have never
had syncing issues, just getting notifications. I am also having trouble
with the heart rate monitor. Sometimes it just doesn't pick up my heartrate
... weird.

@Tpmartino, what I found is that there are actually 2 different Bluetooth connections that need to be made. Connecting to the app is one of them and is what the syncing is based on. The second has to do with the Bluetooth connection with your phone, this is what affects texts and messages.
My Fitbit connected with the app. However, my phone's Bluetooth did not see it or saw it as the wrong Fitbit.
When I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it, the app asked me if I wanted to connect my Charge 3. Once I said yes, then it asked me to enable location services, which I did. My phone then suddenly saw my Charge 3 and connected it to my phone's Bluetooth. Everything has been working fine since then. Even my heart rate is showing up, but there is a bit of delay.
I have heard that this has worked for some but not for others.
Check your phone's Bluetooth. If your Fitbit is there, try deleting and then try to have your phone pair with it again.

Sorry. I hope you get it squared away. I know how frustrating it is.
My phone would only pair my Charge 3 if it saw it as a Versa. But that would last like 2 hours. Every phone is different.

A new version of the app has been released. I deleted the app I had and downloaded app version 3.5 from the play store.
Once the app was on my phone, I then went to set up a new device. When asked I told it to replace the one already in the app.
All connectivity was established and I tested and am getting texts on my device.
Please, check which version of the app you are on. If you are not on 3.5 then please try going to it.
I really hope that your issue gets resolved.

See the pinned thread of over 5000 responses. Most of us have had to go to 3rd party sites to download previous version 2.95 and to cancel future updates
