For about 2 weeks, I have not be getting text message notifications, but I get phone call notifications. I have uninstalled the app, reset my Versa, and my app is up to date. What else can I do?

David - how do you do this? I have a Samsung Galaxy 9 & fitbit inspire hr - I agree - irritating as heck! Get the weather alerts & not my text messages...errrrr

for a few months now ive been having issues with notifications. I only get phone call notifications. Every now and then I can find messages in my watch but they never vibrate when i recieved them so i don't know that they are there. I have followed all of the helps, reset my watch, uninstalled and reinstalled, disabled and enabled notification settings, still nothing. Super frustrating. One of the main reasons i got this watch was sho that i would be notified of texts and phone calls without having to have my phone right in my hand. I have a samsung galaxy 8.

I agree with you! I had a few days where just out of the blue I was receiving texts, then for no apparent reason it stopped notifying me of texts! I get phone call notifications and the other functions of the watch work perfectly but no text messages. One of the reasons I wanted the watch! I have a Samsung S9.

Same Suzette - frustrating, as that to me (receiving text notifications on the fitbit) is the best feature! Very disappointing!

Suzette, I have done all the resets and re starts and re installs with no success. Fit bit help is no help & thats why I'm on this community now. I will watch for them to post something, but it may just continue to be frustrating! Certainly disappointed and not what I expected from them!

I have done all the resets and such as well. I had a charge 2 before I had the versa 2. It went through a brief period with the same problem and it seemed to fix itself. I am hopeful that it will happen with this watch too.

have the same versa and a samsung 10. no text messages. is there any fix to the frustrating problem

The only way I have gotten texts to show up was to shut off my preview option. However once I do that I can no longer see the message. It just pops up "New Message"and when you tap it there is the option to open it which then opens it on the phone. That completely negates the point of this purchase.
