Not receiving text notifications

I just updated to the latest firmware.  I receive calls and notifications from some apps, but I'm no longer getting my emails or my text messages.  I'm assuming this is a bug with the latest update?  Everything was working great up until then.  I have a Google Pixel 2XL phone.  Thanks for any help!  I've done the uninstall, install, reset bluetooth, etc. already.

To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications are correctly configured.

After verifying the above, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

I don't think it was iOS update.  I have a versa and an Android phone and after the versa update and app update, I no longer get notifications to my watch.  Please fix Android also!

I also have an android and recently my text notifications stopped coming thru my fitbit.  Also. Whe. I receive calls,  I  can no longer  choose to answer or ignore using my watch.Please help!!

I should get an android friendly smartwatch.

Is there any tips on how to get notifications to work on android devices? I'm able to get phone call notifications, but it stopped showing texts after the upgrade. Thanks!

No. I have an android. There does not seem to be any resolution for
Androids.

I am no longer receiving text message notifications on my Versa Lite Fitbit.  On the fitbit it is checked off to receive notifications.  I use a android Samsung Galaxy S9 phone to sync with.  All settings on phone have been checked to allow notifications. 

Is anyone else having same issue?  If so, is there a fix for my problem.

I am where you are with this. I have an android and the same issue. No
response from Fitbit and I'm sure they are aware of it.

This is of no use to me because I have Android. My text notifications are not working and I have been trying to troubleshoot for days now, ever since the so-called bug fixing update 🙄

Same problem here! Android user and having issues with notifications.

Today I am wearing my old fashioned watch. My Versa is useless to me now. Without the capability to receive text notifications, never being able to listen to music and never being able to make calls... I wonder why I even used it in the first place. The latest update insists that I buy a package to show insights into my sleep patterns too. I'm retiring the Fitbit and going back old school.

I have an android and I too am not getting notifications  But only text notifications.  Others seem to work

I tried factory reset. Checked updates.  Unselected mesage notifications. Re did it. Nothing worked 

I also have android and versa.

I have done all the same things and mine still isn't working. I still have the "notification service not running" error showing on my app. This sucks.

Yesterday i quit getting text notifications on my versa n i have a android samsung galaxy s7.... ive uninstalled n reinstalled everything n all my things say notifications on n it still doesnt work!

It's a problem with the Fitbit app. I deleted it and went back to version 3.1 and now I get my text message alerts again.
