Hi there @Julesfromipswic, Nice to you are visiting the Fitbit Community! I would like to know more details of the issues you are experiencing?
Have you participate in any adventure or challenge recently? Beating your challenges will reward you with badges as you know but you have to met certain criteria to obtain it. For example hitting your goal in a challenge or beating your personal best.
In the case of badges these are earn more easily, since are rewarded as long you stay active on a daily routine. I like to recommend to review your badges or trophies through the online Dashboard in your Badges & Trophies section to learn when it was earned the last one.
About the notifications, I'm wondering if you are referring to the text / call notifications or reminders to move? If you are experiencing the first, perhaps the following post might be of your help: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app).
If you are referring to reminder to move, you'll feel a vibration and see a reminder on your screen at 10 minutes before the hour if you haven't walked 250 steps. However if you complete the 250 steps before the 10 minutes your tracker won't find the necessary to send a reminder since you've achieved your hourly goal.
Hope this information helps. Keep me posted if you still have more questions.

Hi
I regularly walk over 20k steps a day and previously used to get awards with my original fitbit saying I had walked to Japan etc (over a period of time!!) - this fit bit also has a game on which my original one didn't!
It also does not vibrate or receive notifications - I have done everything the website and community pages suggest so wonder if I have got another faulty one?
Regards

Hi - this didn't work and I have had to have it replaced - unfortunately with despite it being just 40 days old it was replaced with a refurbished model.
