Since the new update I do not receive texts or phone calls on my watch, I can no longer sync my watch, and I've restarted the blessed thing so many times that it is now 8 minutes slow! I'm frustrated and fed up with your so called fixes. Going to be dropping a watch that I at one time really liked. Sixteen months. That is the length of time that I have owned this investment and now have to look elsewhere. Time to see what Samsung and Garmin have to offer. Willing to bet there is at least better customer service.

Hello @Sllamb, welcome to the Community Forums!
I appreciate the information and details that were shared in your post, sorry for the difficulties experienced after the update. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android mobile device you're currently using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
Regarding notifications, make sure that you're using a compatible mobile device and then try the steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone.
Keep me posted, thanks for troubleshooting this situation.
