My fitbit flex 2 has gone haywire this week. On Tuesday never recorded any steps or my swim and the same yesterday and today. Could any water mess it up as I swim 3 times a week. Any suggestions as it's really annoying!!!! Sue.

Swimming shouldn't be an issue with the flex 2.
Syncing problems are quite common and can seem to happen for no reason. Fortunately, they normally sort themselves out or, if not, can usually be solved by restarting the phone and the restarting the fitbit using this procedure:

Give this a few tries though as it doesn't always work. If it still won't sync after that then there are some more things to try in this help file:
