Notification Issues

I'm having multiple issues with the notifications on my fitbit blaze.

 

First, if I get multiple text messages from different people, the Name of the sender somehow ends up being in the body of some of the messages and they just get really confusing to look at, making it useless.

 

Also, I find that I'm clearing the same notification up to 4 times throughout the day, very annoying! Especially scrolling down through my long list of notifications to hit the clear all button. I have tried reducing the number of apps that send me notifications, but see my next issue.

 

Emails! I get tons of emails and I have opened the watches notifications settings and turned off the standard email notifications and all the the email apps notifications that I have, yet I still receive them. 

 

Can anyone help with these issues? Are they known problems that are being worked on or have resolutions for? This is my last hope before entirely turning off notifications. Which is half the reason I wanted this watch in the first place. But receiving the notifications multiple times on my watch, and receiving them on the phone where I have to clear both because clearing 1 doesn't push to the other is really getting overwhelming.

If you are having inconveniences with your notifications, I recommend checking if your phone is a compatible mobile device, after checking this, follow @MarreFitbit's instructions in the My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app) post.

My phone is compatible, so I'm going to follow the directions in the other post you mentioned and see if I'm still having issues.
