Thanks for bringing this up. Let me help you figure out what is going on.
Have you checked your email's inbox for the verification email? After verifying the email it should go away. If you have already verified your email, my suggestion would be to log out of the app and then log back in as to force it to reload everything from the servers.

Red banner says need email verification. Email is received in proper email account. I have clicked on button, and also copied and pasted in new browser several times and it still will not get rid of red.banner. I have loved in and out and it has not worked this far. PLEASE any suggestions?

I have a verification email notification on my dashboard. It won't go away even when I click the link. My charge two hasn't been synced some March because of this. I've had my account since 2016.

Thanks for bringing this up and sharing those details.
The first thing to mention is that verification itself is not related to whether a Fitbit will sync or not. As such I'd like to recommend that you try to follow the steps listed in this help article. They will get your Fitbit to sync and work correctly once again.
As for the verification, are you clicking on the link that shows on the verification banner on your account or on the link that is sent to your email in order to complete the verification? Please make sure that it is the latter as that is what is needed for the verification.
