I'm getting notifications that I have new messages within the android app. But when I go to view the messages, there are no new messages. Only messages that are months old and have already been read. How do I fix this.

Hello @Stromy93 it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!
I appreciate the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android mobile device you're currently using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit device are correctly configured.
After verifying this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes. After trying the troubleshooting steps that are outlined on the help article previously mentioned, you shouldn't receive the "ghost" notifications on your Fitbit device.
Keep me posted.

It's not with the FitBit receiving the notifications that I'm having issues with. This is with the Android App itself showing that I got notifications on the menu bar at the bottom of the screen there on the right. But when I click on the notifications, the messages are from back in May that I've already responded too! This started within the last week. Tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it. Doesn't fix the problem.
