Notification service keeps shutting down

Hello!

I have a Xiaomi Redmi 7 phone. I keep getting the 'Nootification service not running. a phone restart is required' error.
I've followed all the steps found in this post.

I can fix it temporarily by removing notification permissons then re-enabling it again.
For a few hours the notifications show up perfectly, but after a while they stop appearing and I get the 'Notification service not running...' error again.

Please assist me in fixing this problem

Thank you in advance!

Thank you for the reply.

I've tried no battery restictions and allowing full screen mode.
Since then I've also tried locking the app (see: https://www.softwarert.com/lock-background-apps-xiaomi-redmi-phones/ )
It's important to know that everytime I try a new fix, I disable, and re-enable notifications, so the service is running.

I'm sad to say that so far none of these proved to be a reliable solution. At most, I can get it working for 12 hours, then I start recieving notifications.
