I have been facing the issue of notification service not running on Android app since have purchased the Fitbit Ionic watch or you can say the phones I have been using. On any phone I used, this service has not worked.
Currently I am using Redmi Note 6 Pro and tried fixing the issue by restarting the phone, reinstalled the app, relinked the watch to phone etc. However, no luck.
Kindly advise to fix the issue for once.

Let's make sure power management is disabled for the firbit app.
Phone settings / apps / fitbit / power or battery
@Aliemarie96 you say that you turned something off and this something will not turn on.
A quick search brings up several solved threads on this subject.

The error is:
Notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker.
And, because of this, I am not getting any notification ( which are configured like call,text,mail etc ) on the tracker / watch.

Mine started doing this yesterday, so I turned it off to reset, and now it will not turn back on ..
