Greetings. Been through all the posts on this topic. My settings ARE correct. I have a Samsung NOTE 10+ and a VERSA Fitbit. Verizon is my carrier. I use the default messages app for the Android phone. I, TOO, am not receiving text message notifications on the Versa. All other notifications are coming through, including messages from Facebook messenger. The ONLY thing not working is text messages. I tried a million different things.
Never had this problem with my Note 5. And I believe it worked when I first upgraded my phone in early December, but not for long. If I knew that Fitbit was working on the problem, I would be patient and wait for an update. Why isn't Fitbit acknowledging this?
Please help me and the rest of us resolve this. Thanks you. - Sally

Hi @Sally2290, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums! Sorry for the delayed reply.
I appreciate the details that were shared in your post and for troubleshooting your device prior to posting too. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Versa are correctly configured. Also, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.
Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

So, I've been thru all the links you suggested. Multiple times. Everything is correct. I can document with screen prints. And I'm well aware of the "if the app is open on your phone" principle. The issue is NOT user error. It is some sort of compatibility issue. A conflict btw the Fitbit software and the Android. Sometimes I can get it to semi work in that it will tell me I have a message, but no detail. And can't respond with a "default" msg from Fitbit. It's intermittent and not often. And even messenger messages are not coming in regularly or timely. All other features and notifications work. The fact the Fitbit is not acknowledging this is giving me pause. I have been a loyal Fitbit user for years, but I want some basic smart watch capabilities like message notifications. I am looking at a Samsung Active 2 watch now. If Fitbit is not willing to acknowledge the issue and let us know they are working to resolve, I'm left with no other viable options. It's a shame, really.

Your update is appreciated @Sally2290, sorry for the delayed reply.
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts and personal experience with your Fitbit device, I understand your situation and how frustrating this matter can be for you. I'd like to let you know that we are always striving to improve the Fitbit experience with our products and services, therefore, the feedback that's shared here in the Community Forums is always appreciated and really helpful for us to evaluate our procedures and make sure that we are delivering what our users want and need.
Keep in mind that your Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ is not listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, all the requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit are not met. That being said, please try with a compatible device instead and let me know if the issue persists.
I'll be around.
