Fitbit Update 01/10/2017: Happy New Year Community! With the release of the Android app, version 2.40 we've made a couple of changes to the Android notifications detail page that I wanted to share with everyone.
NOTE: You will only see options for Text, Calendar, Email and App notifications if those notification types are supported by your tracker. (Please refer to the chart in this help article for details).
- When the notifications toggle is set to OFF, the app options will be grayed out.
- Once turned ON, you will be able to select the option for text notifications (and choose from some cool new icons that help distinguish between apps with the same names such as "Messenger" for Facebook and Google Messenger).
- In addition, we've made some subtle changes to the notifications labels.
- Call & Text Notifications is now Notifications
- Call Notifications is now Calls
- Text Notifications is now Text Messages
- Calendar Notifications is now Calendar Events
- Email Notifications is now Emails
- App Notifications is still App Notifications
