Notifications disabled for app amongst other things (Nokia 3.1)

Hi, so I'm new to the community and have had this watch for a week now. It's nice but functionality wise tis a **ahem**. Notification service stops every 5 hours I imagine, have to restart phone to get it to work for another 5 hours. GPS connectivity is spooty and sync issues galore. So what I'm working with currently is an expensive basic tracker at most cause everything else isn't functional or glitchy. And thus my first request of help would be to get the notification service up and running like normal (already disabled battery optimization for it and such and such). As much as it looks nice I'm already regretting getting this and any actual help would be appreciated.

So after endless tinkering I've figured out that my issue was that I had the app installed onto my SD card. Once I uninstalled and force installed onto my phone's storage and doing a complete refresh of the Versa (factory resetting it) is it now working. So what you have to do (results may vary per phone for this btw) is install the Fitbit (or reinstall it) making sure it's installed onto the phone's internal storage, and if you're doing it new, setup the Versa as the instructions tell you to do. Now if you've had your Versa and it's stuck with no notifications and such and would like to get them, you'll have to factory reset the Versa and do all the updates and such, set it up like new (making sure the app is installed on the phone's internal memory) and you should now be able to properly sync to your phone and receive notifications (the log water and food app is still not working though, that's prolly on Fitbit's part). And now you have a (nearly) properly functional Versa! Giver yourself a pat on the back and curse Fitbit for not making this easier.

@SunsetRunner Welcome! It's great to see you around!

I will assist you with your notifications and thank you for checking the battery optimization options on your phone. Your phone doesn't show as compatible but that doesn’t mean it won’t work it just means that it hasn’t been tested by our team. You can try refreshing the link between your phone and your device by going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. You can find additional suggestions here.

Let me know how it goes.
