Notifications don't work on Charge 3

Had a charge 3 for about a year and it stopped showing calls and texts.  Time was off by about 8 minutes  and unable to sync to fix it.  Just bought a new one and although it synced  with my phone, it wont show call it text notifications.   Should I just return it or will there be a fix?

Thanks for letting me know about your Charge 3's behavior and let me know you out with this. There are some factors that may prevent you from getting notifications, so make sure of the following:

 

  • The Fitbit app is updated to the latest version.
  • Your Fitbit device and phone are within 20 feet.
  • To avoid any interference, turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
  • If you use more than one device to sync, make sure the other device isn't nearby.

 

If these conditions don't apply to you, on your Charge 3 hold the side button for a few seconds and make sure the notifications are enabled. Also, go to your phone's settings and make sure the Do Not Disturb settings are off. Then set up the notifications one more time and monitor your tracker for the next days. If the issue persists, provide me with your phone's model and Android version so I can further investigate.
