Hi @V111CFC. Welcome to the Forums. Sorry for the delayed response.

I'm sorry that your Versa isn't receiving your notifications and let's work on this together. Just a question, do you mean that all your notifications (call, text, calendar and apps) aren't going through? If so, please try the following steps:

  1. Remove the Versa from the Bluetooth settings on your phone and any other device used to sync.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections that are nearby.
  3. On your phone's settings, tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  4. Go back one screen, tap on force stop and reboot your phone.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and set up the notifications.
  6. Make sure to turn on the notifications in your watch. Just swipe down from the top of the screen, tap the quick settings icon and turn off the Do Not Disturb (little circle with a line) and Sleep Mode (little moon) settings.

I'll be around, keep me posted.

I have been having the same issue with my versa. Ever since I did the new update on my watch I haven't been able to get notifications on my watch. Emails, texts or other notifications from my other apps. I have done everything you said on your post and nothing works. I love my watch but very frustrated with not getting my notifications. My daughter also has a versa and is having the same problem. Any help would be great.

Hi @V111CFC, I'm glad to see you here again. @Tiredmomof3, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry for the delayed response.

@V111CFC, thanks for keeping me updated. You're welcome and I'm glad that the notifications are now working. Happy stepping! 😉

@Tiredmomof3, thanks for your efforts while trying the steps posted above. I'm sorry that you and your daughter are having this experience with your watches and to work on this together, could you please verify if the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version? Is the Fitbit app allowed to run on the background? Also, may I know the model and Android version of the phone that you and your daughter are using?

I'll look forward to your response.

@LizzyFitbit

Hello, both mine and my daughters fitbit apps are updated and allowed to run in the background. We also both have the same type phone of a samsung galaxy s7 that is running the android version 8.0.0.

Hi @Tiredmomof3. It's good to see you back and I'm sorry for the delayed response.

Thanks for providing the requested information. The Fitbit app has been optimized to work with the Samsung Galaxy S7, meaning that all the features such as notifications should be working correctly. However, since this isn't the case, please give one last try the following steps. To avoid any interference, make sure to take your daughter's Versa and phone to another room.

  1. Remove your Versa from the Bluetooth settings one more time.
  2. Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app.
  3. Reboot your phone and restart your Versa.
  4. Set up your watch as a new device.
  5. Once that is completed, set up the notifications one more time.

After completing this process, do the same with your daughter's Versa and phone making sure to take your watch and phone to another room.

Let me know how it goes.
