Just got a new versa and can get all notifications except text messages and this is the main reason I got it... please help

I'd recommend that you follow these steps to get your notifications to work.

 

Additionally, please check if your phone shows on the compatibility list. Incompatible phones are expected to have issues with the app given that it has not been fully optimized to work with that phone. Having said that, as long as your phone has Bluetooth 4.0 and at least Android 4.4 there is a possibility that then notifications could work. If it does meet those requirements, please also try the steps I mentioned above.
