Notifications not showing on Fitbit Ionic (using Pixel 2)

I hade a Fit Charge HR 2 for quite some time but a few weeks ago notifications (SMS, phone caller ID etc.) stopped working. This was on a Samsung S7 phone. Replaced the Charge HR with a Fitbit Ionic and the Samsung 7 with a Pixel 2 - but still no notfications. Everything else works well - sync etc.

What is wrong with the Notifications??? This was one of the reason I went for the Ionic.

Hello @TedSch, let me give you a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community! In this case the Pixel 2 is not a compatible device. I had the same issue you are going through, when I start testing the Ionic with my phone all is working, except fro the Text notifications, but in my case the phone I have is not listed as compatible either.

It would not hurt to try the following steps suggested here if the issue persists: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app).

To see the latest list of supported devices, please go to http://www.fitbit.com/devices. If your device isn't listed, you can check the link at a later date to see if device support has been added.

I appreciate your understanding while we work to improve this experience and for other questions stay tuned to the Fitbit Community!
