Notifications "stuck" on phone ( oneplus 6)

I have a whole series of notifications from Fitbit showing in the dashboard on the app on my phone. Its a OnePlus 6. There have been no notifications since last June. When I log on to the web version of my Fitbit account it says there are no notifications.

I can't seem to clear or delete the notifications  on the phone ( swiping doesn't work and there don't seem to be any delete options). I've tried clearing the Apps cache, tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, restarting etc. I've tried unpairing. . Despite all my efforts the notifications are still there frozen in time.

 Any ideas?

A warm welcome to the Community @Ged1957! I appreciate the details that you've shared and the troubleshooting that you've performed in order to clear the notifications.

I'm not sure if you're seeing these notifications on the Fitbit notification center or if you're seeing this on your phone's notifications. If you're seeing the most recent 100 notifications on your app, this is working as intended.

If you're not talking about the Fitbit notification center and you're not able to clear them all, please provide me with a screenshot of what you're seeing.

P.S. I've moved your post to this board because it's more related to the topic.

Here's a screenshot of what I see in the notifications part of the App on my phone. I've not counted all the notifications but there look to be more than 100 and they are dated from 13 May 2017 to 11 June 2018 - nothing later.

Thank you for the screenshot attached @Ged1957! Sorry for the delay reply. Those are intended notifications. As mentioned before, this is how the app is intended to work. Once, you get new notifications, they will clear and show  you the most new ones but always 100 notifications.

Hope this clarifies any doubt! I'll be around if you need further assistance.

Thanks for the update.I'm afraid though that it doesn't solve the problem.

As i said in my original post the notifications I am seeing in the FitBit App are "stuck" and "frozen". Within the app i'm not seeing any notifications dated more recently than 11 June 2018 - 9 months ago!

I do though get daily FitBit notifications coming through on my phone - its just this batch within the app that seem to be stuck and frozen and that I can't manually delete and that don't refresh.
