Hi, since the app updated a few weeks ago my notifications don't come through at all, it just says restart phone for notifications to start. After a restart it's still the same. I've contacted Fitbit and they're saying my phone isn't compatible? It's been working fine for the last 7 mths then after the update of the app, they just stopped. So now I've got a blaze that is just a watch.
Is there anywhere I can get the old version of the app? I thought about deleting the app and trying to find an old version but I can't find q anywhere. Pretty annoying to pay so much for just a watch now.

I've got a similar issue - changed my phone from HTC 10 to Mi9T last week and I get the same results as you - no notification and same message asking to restart what leads to nothing. I've tried everything from restarting my fitbit to unpairing, re-installing app etc - nothing has fixed that issue.

Hi, I'm also having the issue with my Charge 2. Since the last firmware update, it slowly stopped receiving notifications. Now it's completely dead, as in none are coming in at all. This not only includes texts, calls and calendar updates but now even the ones from Fitbit itself. No more notifications to remind to be get ready for bed, my step totals, or even that ever annoying yet useful reminder to move. I've tried everything across the Charge 2 forums and nothing. The remedies have just made the issue worse. Not sure what to do anymore. Very frustrating.
For the techs out there: using Pixel 3 XL with Android 10 and Fitbit app version 3.5. with Charge 2 firmware 22.22.58.0

Yep that's the same as mine. Fitbit have come back to me saying that they're working in a fix for this, but no timescale etc so we're just gonna have to wait until hopefully the next update and see if that fixes it. Fingers crossed.

I have exactly the same problem. Huawei P20 Pro and Fitbit Blaze. Notifications and everything else have worked perfectly for about a year then stopped 2 or so weeks ago. Itried every tip and solution/workaround on this site and nothing works. I see the same screens shown above after reboots. Uninstall/reinstall, etc makes no difference.
Incredibly frustrating as it was one of the main features I have always used. Seriously considering just getting rid and trying a different device now.

I've found my own answer somehow on another thread:
Xiaomi MIUI has some pretty aggressive battery saving features. You'll need to do the following to get it to work
1. Disconnect your fitbit from your old phone first, otherwise you might experience connectivity problems
2. Connect to your fitbit using the app on your Xiaomi phone
3. On your Xiaomi phone, go to Settings -> Permissions -> Autostart find the fitbit app and make sure it's checked
4. On your Xiaomi phone, go to Settings -> Battery -> Manage Apps Battery Usage -> Choose Apps find the fitbit app and again, make sure that it is checked.
Both synchronising and notifications should work now, tested on my Xiaomi Mi Mix with MIUI 8.5.4.0
