I can't tell you how much I hate the updated android app. I use the word "update" advisedly. It fees like three steps backwards. Everything was so easy to do on the previous app -- now you have to click three times just to set an alarm. I learned of the new app when i bought a new
Inspire HR to replace my previous Alta HR. I've owned at least 5 Fitbits, and I find the new Inspire to be the worst I ever bought. Installing the band is a pain. The "touch" screen is a mess, and frankly, the whole device feels cheap.
I immediately returned it to Best Buy, and you'll be interested to know the 3 techs standing behind the counter told me they've had many, many Inspire returns for all the reasons I've listed above.
I'm switching to Garmin.

Hello @RicardoFitbit - why hasn't anyone responded on the thread started by @AlessFitbit where most people are posting their (HORRIBLE) issues with the "updated" (cough cough) app?

Also, why is the "updated" app so crappy? Inquiring minds want to know.

Could not agree more. App is a step back, not forward.

My cherished One died, and it took some adaptation to get used to the HR. It's okay now; operating the HR is a bit clumsy but not bad for its small size, which I like. I want my tracker to be just that; I'll wear my own cherished watches to tell the time.
**BUT** what's up with the new dashboard appearance on the Android app? The parameters I use are harder to get to and the organization of the elements doesn't come close to matching what I use. Fitbit, if going back to the old layout isn't an option, then please work on allowing me to customize the display the way I can on the computer dashboard, selecting which elements I want where.
