Unable to sync Fitbit One

Hi,

 

I understand this has been raised multiple times already but this really is annoying now.

 

I've done the reset task, by plugging it into the charger, turning it off and on again, but it's only worked once, so the device I have now is rendered useless.

 

Please can you rectify this as I take part in monthly medal tasks which requires me to screenshot my evidence via the app to be able to claim my medal.

I appreciate the information that was shared in your post, thanks for troubleshooting this prior to posting. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android mobile device you're currently using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.

 

Also, you can try to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Thank you for your reply.

 

I own a Samsung Galaxy S7 running on Android 8.0.0

 

My fitbit app is, to my knowledge, version 3.3.1

 

I've owned my "One" since 2013 and believe I have never had syncing issues in the past.

Thanks for the details that were shared with me. Did you tried the troubleshooting steps that were shared on my previous post? You should not experience syncing difficulties because your Samsung S7 is compatible with our products and services, therefore, can you please check if the Fitbit app is up to date? There's new version of the Fitbit app, please check this update and after installing it let me know how it goes.

The app updated over the weekend and has since started syncing again.
