Spotify HR still won't work.

I tried the suggestion that someone gave me and now it's saying lost connection to the fitbit app. How can this happen when the watch is on my wrist and the phone is something like six inches from it. I don't get it. Is there a possibility that my watch needs to be updated?

Hi @SunsetRunner, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums, welcome back.

I appreciate the details that were shared in your post, sorry for the difficulties experienced with your device and the Spotify HR app. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android mobile device you're currently using? Also, which suggestion you tried? When was the first time you experienced this and how many times since then? If you haven't already done so, in the meantime I receive your answers, please check: How do I install and manage apps on my Fitbit watch? and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted.

I tried a suggestion offered my another fitbit community member

They said to open the Spotify app on my phone and then open the fitbit app and then open the HR Spotify app on my watch and wait for it to connect. However it now says connecting and has lost connection to the fitbit app. It has never worked right. I have a Samsung galaxy galaxy S9.

Thanks for your reply and update @SunsetRunner, sorry for the delay in responding.

The details that were shared in your post are appreciated, also thanks for troubleshooting this with me and prior to posting. To move forward with this situation, can you please try uninstalling the Spotify HR app from your Fitbit device and then prior reinstalling, reboot your mobile device and Fitbit?

Looking forward to your reply.
