Notifications stopped working after Android update (Android 12) - Fitbit

Do you happen to have any other suggestions?  I've recently been updated to Android 12 and now I'm not receiving any notifications to my Sense Watch.   I seem to get most phone calls, but no notifications for texts/messages

What I've tried:

- restarting phone

- log out of app, delete cache & data, log back in

- restart Sense Watch

- remove bluetooth connections and re-pair with phone

- force stop

- allow all notifications & permission to Sense/Fitbit

- battery set to "not optimize"

- all suggestions on the link you shared

What did they say to do to fix it? My friend is in a similar position - her whole Fitbit app is just gone! She called up Fitbit for help & was told that with the new update you need to have a phone that's at least an (Android) 8.1 model. Hers is a 7.1. She asked what she can do to use her Fitbit & the person told her to go buy a new phone!! I think this is terrible & there must be something that can be done!! But honestly, Fitbit does just leave tons of people hanging without caring one bit, so it doesn't surprise me. I haven't been able to start a challenge or do a solo hike for years now & lm just one of many! Fitbit does not care & has no interest in fixing it. Id love to be proven wrong... I'll be waiting, but won't be holding my breath.

I am on my 4th fit bit in 5 yrs. They don't last and have lots of issues with it being able to consistently work properly. This will be my last one. Latest update also messed with my Versa 2. Disappointed
