Every time I reboot my phone (Moto Z) I have to re enable notifications via the Fitbit app. Meaning it brings me to the Android settings to flip the little toggle switch and then back to the app for the Fitbit settings. Why doesn't it stay enabled through power cycles?

Hi there @MikeyF811, its nice to see you have joined to the Fitbit Community. My best here in this scenario is that depend on each phones functionality.
I have replicated the same scenario with my phone and the notifications stay On after the restart. So we can say this is not a glitch on the app.
We can try a few things to resolve this with your phone. Make sure you are running the latest version of the app. For Android the most recent is 2.43 released on Feb 23rd.
To see what version of the Fitbit app is installed on your device:
After you have reviewed this, go to your App manager on your phone settings and look for the Fitbit app in order to clear the cache of the App.
Log out from your Fitbit account and force quit the app also. Once you have done this, log back in to your Fitbit app and give it another try.
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes!

I think clearing the cache worked. I also logged out and signed out as you recommended. Restarted my phone twice and the notifications never turned off. Thanks!

Hi there @MikeyF811, I'm sorry I haven't post anything recently, but I'm happy to hear the notifications stay On even after you restarted your phone.
Hope to see you around and don't forget to visit our Discussion boards.

I want to turn that whole community notifications OFF. It’s blowing up my phone with useless posts of 20 year olds fishing for compliments. My friends and I communicate. Is pm. Would like to turn off that dumb Facebook part.
