Number of floors counted being doubled

Since Saturday, both my online Dashboard and the Android app has been doubling the amount of floors registered but both my Blaze and the graph showing the floors show the correct number.

For example, today's floors so far:

Number of floors reported is 48...Number of floors reported is 48......yet clicking on the graph shows 24 floors, which matches the number reported by the Blaze (and is correct)....yet clicking on the graph shows 24 floors, which matches the number reported by the Blaze (and is correct).

Both my Blaze, and the graph detail, show the correct number (being 24) but for some reason the app is reporting 48.

Up until Saturday everything has worked correctly for the previous 9 months and nothing on my side has changed except for the Fitbit app updating itself late last week.  Around the same time I've also been having numerous sync failures and now I also notice that the time on my Blaze isn't matching my phone anymore - currently 3 minutes slow and getting progressively worse as the day goes on.

So, what's happened all of a sudden and how can it be fixed?  Restarting my tracker, numerous sync attempts, etc. as suggested elsewhere has not changed anything...

So I unpaired my Blaze from the app, reset the Blaze then set it up again as a new tracker. It now shows the correct number of floors for the last 3 days (all the days where the app was doubling them) and it has also corrected the Blaze's time.
