Did you mean:

OnePlus 8 Pro compatibility

I know it's not in the supported devices list yet, but figured I'd ask:

Is anyone using Fitbit devices with Oneplus 8 Pro, particularly Charge 4 or Versa 2 - do they work?

Hi Ricardo

Can you also post the answer here? I have a oneplus 6 now linked w/versa 2. I want to buy the oneplus 8 or 8pro or the Samsung S20. Are they compatible w/ Fitbit versa 2?

Hello @Desiree_dutchie, welcome to the Community Forums!

We are constantly working and testing different mobile devices to make sure that they work as intended with our products and services. As it turns out, at this moment I'm unable to let you know when or if the OnePlus 8/8pro and the Samsung Galaxy S20 will be added to our list of compatible devices, however, my best advice for you will be to constantly check our list of compatible devices for any update.

Keep in mind that this doesn't mean that you'll not be able to use your Fitbit device at all with such mobile devices, however, we cannot ensure that all your Fitbit features will work as intended with the phones that were mentioned above.

Let me know if you have any additional questions, I'll be around.

Hello I can't pair my fitibit to my one plus 8, not the one plus 8 pro. I have the pair it to my laptop which is making me highly consider sending back my Fitbit versa 2.

I've been an active Fitbit member for the past 4 years. I wear this thing everyday of my life. I received a new phone as a gift, one plus 8 pro. Fitbit is not compatible with my phone now. I'm very depressed to have to leave the Fitbit community after so many dedicated years. Why is this phone not compatible, it makes no sense.

Agreed! We need compatability now!

I second that.. OnePlus 8pro needs to be included in the list of compatible phones..I am also unable to use versa after two years of usage with my OnePlus six..

How can you claim that support team provided assistance when the OnePlus 8pro phone is not in your list of compatible phones?

Since my current phone is not compatible with fitbit versa, I thought of upgrading my phone to oneplus latest models. But neither oneplus 8t nor oneplus nord is compatible with fitbit.

If there's any surety of the oneplus model being tested soon, at least I can make a decision. Whether to buy the phone or sell off the fitbit versa.

I got a OnePlus 8 Pro on Black Friday. Initially it worked with my Fitbit Ionic, but last week it stopped syncing and now I can't get it to connect to my phone at all. Did all troubleshooting steps, even dug my old phone out so I could update the firmware, no dice. Fitbit support just says the OnePlus 8 Pro isn't on the list of supported devices, oh well. I complained on Twitter and their social media support claims they opened a case for me, but not sure what they're going to do, I mean either it's supported or it's not..

Long story short, if you love your Fitbit don't get a OnePlus 8 Pro. For me though, the cost of getting the OnePlus and a different tracker, like a Garmin or something, is still cheaper than buying a comparable phone like the latest Samsung Galaxy, so I guess it's bye-bye Fitbit for me. I only had it for 8 months or so, but it's still a bummer.

Did you try this yet? https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Not-receiving-text-notifications-with-OnePlus-6T/m-p/402...

I haven't been able to get my notifications for more than a year (basically just wearing it as a tracker) but this worked! I can get text, phone, and email notifications now!

@a1931 Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.

The Fitbit app can be downloaded from the Play Store, just visit the store on your phone, search for the Fitbit app and install it. Once it has been installed, check out this article about tips on how to use the app on your Android phone.

In case, anyone else is experiencing syncing issues, make sure this troubleshooting has been performed.

Hope this helps.
