Notations can't be deleted until there are at least 100, then they'll fall off. Ridiculous to hold that many when they don't even mean anything.
Messages supposed to fall off after 30 days. I have some that are 5 months old.
There should be a way for the user to delete unwanted notations and messages themselves.
My app is on a Samsung 8+ android

If you have the time, maybe you could vote for this suggestion about being able to delete them. While it is listed as Not Currently Planned you can still support the idea by voting for it. Be sure to read the FAQ to better understand how that board works.

Gratifying to know how many others are bugged about this issue. It seems so easy to fix so why can't/won't Fitbit do so ??

Doing nothing is not a solution to the problem. I want to delete all of these hundred plus notifications. I've had my Fitbit since December of 2017 I have every single solitary one of the notifications. They don't delete after 30 days they don't delete after a hundred plus they simply don't delete. And now my real notifications like phone calls text messages are not going through all the time. The phone randomly notifies me of a phone call or a text message and I believe it's because there are all of these saved Fitbit notifications that I've never even bothered to look at until now. When I tried to fix the problem by clicking on and opening each one of them I found it with my Fitbit did then was delete everything current from April 20th 2 June 14th and it deleted them. But everything before that it's still on my phone. What is the fix for this problem I have seen people asking for a real fix since 2015. I know that the new fitbit's have a delete option. But I have the charge 2 and there is no delete option. Fitbit you need to do better.

Why is this marked as "solved"? This bugs me on a daily basis. Men I mistakenly "friended" thinking it was for legitimate fitness support and comradery trying to hit on me through messages and I can't delete them?! C'mon!
