Will it record my data for a week and then let me download it when I have access to wifi.  Wondering if it will do any good to wear it while I am out of wifi, mobile data range.

Thank you!

It depends on what model you have. Fitbit say:

  • Most trackers store up to 7 days of detailed minute-by-minute data. If you have a Fitbit Alta™, your minute-to-minute data is stored for up to 5 days. If you wait longer than 7 days (5 days for Alta) before syncing, you may only see the most recent week's detailed data.
  • Summary data (calories, distance, steps, and floors) will be stored for 30 days. If your tracker measures heart rate, summary heart rate data will be stored as well.

I have a charge 2.  Thank you!  We will be hiking and bike riding.  I am glad to know it will store the data.

Sounds fun, enjoy!

Are you going to be ok with charging? I doubt the Charge 2 will last a week.
