Outdoor bike not logged

I have a Charge 2. I cycle to work most days but this is only occasionally logged as 'outdoor bike'. If I try to add it manually, the app crashes when I try to put in the distance. Why doesn't it register automatically and why does the app keep crashing?

I can't answer your questions, but the surest way to get it registered correctly is to use multi-sport mode, manually starting and stopping your ride with the side button.  If Bike is not there as an option, it can be added, with or without GPS, from phone dashboard, Account, Charge 2, Exercise Shortcuts.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
