Pairing Versa with multiple devices breaks syncing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Versa was more or less fine syncing to my Samsung Note 10 but then I bought Samsung Tab S5e and the problems with sync started. I remember having similar issues in the past with other Fitbit devices paired to multiple Android devices.

Basically one of the Android devices will connect first and the sync will work on that device but the other devices will report sync problems.

I have to disable Bluetooth or unpair on my tablet to have it consistently work on my phone which is annoying.

The strange thing is I've found posts here that say this configuration should be working fine.

Hi @marcin84, welcome to the Community Forums!

I appreciate the information and details that were shared in your post, thanks for troubleshooting this matter prior to posting too. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted, I'll be around if you need anything else.

Thanks for forcing me to read documentation 🙂

It seems they do explain that pairing with two devices at the time won't work in Can I sync my Fitbit device with more than one device?.

Pity the app does that automatically and also does not warn about this situation. It's a rather bad behavior. I will try to report this to support.
