Pairing difficulties with Samsung Galaxy S10e

I just got my versa 2 and every time i try to pair my phone with my versa 2 it says, "couldn't pair. Check settings for this device and try again." I have tried everything they have suggested.. restarted the watch, restarting my phone, turned off all other Bluetooth connections... this is frustrating.

Hi @tessversa2, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delayed reply.

First, I'd like to appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation prior to posting, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check all the information that's specified on: How do I set up my Fitbit device? to check if all the requirements are correctly configured to setup your device. Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

I'll be around if you need anything else, please keep me posted.

I had this issue too. It took me forever to figure it out. It finally worked when I did this:

  1. Go to Apps > Fitbit app > Advanced > Battery > Battery optimization.
  2. Change the view to All apps.
  3. Search for the Fitbit app and choose Not optimized.

Found this on fitbit help articles here https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1872?q=setup&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1#alldevices
