I received my replacement Charge 3 today. I am trying to pair it to the same phone I used on my previous Charge 3. The smile comes on the screen but then it only shows the Fitbit logo with www.fitbit.com/setup.
I tried restarting, still the same.
The bluetooth of the phone shows the Charge 3 on the available devices, starts showing pairing and then stops. Does not go further.

Me too! Just received mine and I'm a first time user and its stuck on this .com/setup screen!? Pairing wont work either. Highly frustrating for my first time!

I bought my 1st one last Nov 2019. I received my 2nd replacement today, hoping that all would be well now. Now this problem. I feel like crying.

I read a few posts. Maybe try deleting the app and reinstalling it. Then restart your phone and switch bluetooth on.
I've just done that and it seems to have worked and got rid of the annoying setup thing.
Although now its updating and been stuck on 1% for the last 25 minutes.... back to reading articles I go!!

Has anyone had any luck?
I haven't tried for hours yesterday following all the trouble shooting advice and tried on 3 devices!!
Got in touch with fitbit got to wait for them to message back.

Have you received any feedback from Fitbit? I send an e-mail 3 days ago to Fitbit Support, still waiting for reply.

Has anyone tried calling them directly? That's what I was going to do, but just by restarting my phone and the app it seemed to have work, and still working now.
Maybe try calling, even if theres a wait.. at least you'll hopefully get through to someone rather than having an email lost in the 40000000 other emails they must be receiving! 😞

Finally my Charge 3 is working like it chould. Tried a few tips and it worked.

I just got my replacement yesterday having had the same problem with the first one so essentially I never used it and now I'm having similar setup problems this time around. I wish there was a clear-cut diagnosis so that people knew exactly what to do. I spent my whole day trying to solve a problem that has turned out to be impossible.

I am just guessing, but I believe you can only have one device associated with your app. You may have to remove the original tracker first, before you can pair with the replacement tracker.

Please remember, you can never pair a fitbit tracker through the phones Bluetooth. If you do try, the tracker will reject this attempt.
We need to setup the tracker through the fitbit app. Once setup, the fitbit app will ask for permission to pair.
