Pairing rejected by blaze

I have exhausted everything that I have read about pairing with the new samsung s9+. You need to fix this issue. Please don't send me generic emails on a fix when you already know it will not work. Make it compatible with the new phones.

Hi there @Jeepgirl42, nice to have new faces in the Fitbit Community! I appreciate your honest feedback and I can understand your request as I know there are many users who are eager to see the new Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+.

I saw you have exhausted all troubleshooting steps and rest assure we are working to have more compatible phones added to our list. I know you are looking for a solution but at the moment even us as moderators do not have a timeframe of when a mobile phone is going to be listed as a compatible device.

I would like to give you some extra help if you allow me. In this case I'm wondering if you are you seeing an error and how far are you able to go in the set up process?

Perhaps using another phone of the compatible list or a computer just to set up your Blaze, will served as a workaround in the meantime. Once your tracker is paired, you can continue using your Galaxy S9+, since the pairing process is not with your phone, but with your a Dashboard.

As a matter of review, check this other post for a similar scenario. It might be of your help too.

See you around and if I got more details I will let you know.

I'm very disappointed in the amount of time it takes for FitBit to update compatibility on these newer phone versions. With a huge market of activity trackers out there I'm afraid I'll be searching for a competitor brand that is able to keep up with technology as this is an extremely frustrating experience.
