Persistent "Connected GPS" message on Android. is not going away on my phone, and I have to restart it. Thats not fair, and I dont want it. I have to reboot the phone, and thats not pro. I can still return it through amazon but there has to be a solution. 

I've just went into Android > Settings > Apps > Fitbit > Other permissions > Permanent Notification > OFF

But still, is this the way to go? Will I have to wait until tomorrow to find out? What are the side effects of turning OFF this permanent notification setting?
