Phone app not communicating with website except for steps

I'm just wondering why the website and app don't communicate. The only thing it communicates on it seams is steps. Doesn't show days exercised on the app, doesn't update water, food logged, etc. I log all that on the website and it rarely shows up on the app. Very frustrating, I've updated the firmware and that's when it started not communicating everything. A note: Since I have had my fitbit all I have experienced is frustration with it. This is my second fitbit and I'm starting to wish I had gone with something else.

@Tracy428, are you sure you are logged into the Fitbit.com Dashboard with the same email address that you are logged into the Fitbit app with?  What you are describing indicates that you are looking at two different accounts.  Try logging out of both, and then log in again using the same emaill address & password.

I've checked that. I'm logged in with everything the same.
