I recently updated from a Samsung S4 to an S7 and I can't get the notifications to work on my Alta again. I have the messaging app I use selected, but no luck. Any ideas?
The app is also constantly trying to turn on the Bluetooth as well. Is that normal?

The app will not be able to communicate with the alta unless BT is on. If you want to sync our get notifications then BT needs to be on. So yes it is normal for the app to want BT on.

As for notifications, depending on the app you'll need to enable pop up on the messaging app, and on the phone settings, under sound and notifications, lock screen needs to be set for show all.

Make sure that you have the latest app, it has improved notifications, and supports more massaging programs.
